This week is Trash Hacker week here at Trash Backwards. It’s an opportunity for us to hear from you and highlight your innovative home trash hacks!
What’s a trash hack? It’s a smart solution you’ve come up with for reusing something you would normally throw away — the reuse of the item is integral to the functioning of your home or lifestyle. For example in our house wine corks stuffed into pot handles are a no-burn means for us to grab pot lids with bare fingers without using a potholder! Here’s a picture of two pots over high heat on the stove. If you grab onto the wine corks, you feel no heat.
Send us your trash hacks so we can share them with the 1500 followers on our Pinterest boards and on Facebook so they can learn that what you normally throw away might actually be a resource! Everyone who sends in a photo with DIY directions will receive a copy of our digital Zero Waste Household Guide. So what’s stopping you?
How do I send a photo?
You can upload a photo directly to our Trash Backwards Facebook wall here.
You can email your photo(s) to getinvolved@trashbackwards.com. Or you can simply add your idea & photo to our add solutions page.
However you share your original photos with us, please include the name we should credit, any blog or website URL we can direct people to, and remember to send only those images you own.
